Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
Student obtains basic information, knowledge and skills in business economics which compose the prerequisition for entrance to managerial or economic position in a company. The subject has an integrating function, it joins the knowledge of individual areas of busines and it emphasizes the connections and flows among them.

Assessment methods:
Evaluation of students is based on two tests (in the 6th and 12th week of semester usually), and on active attendance at the seminars. Requirements on both tests are the same; to pass the test minimum 60 % correctness in each has to be fulfilled.
Exam is written. Registratio n for the exam is allowed only after the credit obtaining. To pass the exam it is required to receive 60 % of points as minimum.
The final mark is given as a sum of points from seminars and point from exam.
