Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
|Knowledge of the theoretical background of structural and functional parameters, and practical differential application of technical resources, including energy systems and technologies in the production of planting material, restoration and protection of forest stands předprobírkového education and age. Requirements for safety and health at work with the leaders of technology in cultivation technology of production, risk management, retrieval and evaluation of occupational risks. Optimization solutions election processes and machinery, cost, environmental and other aspects. Main topics of the issue of forest logging and timber transport. Ranges of the wood manufacturing processes in the logging, motor-manual timber extraction technologies.|
|Introduction, basic concepts of mechanization and technization, the theory of forecasting of technological development. Specifics-technology production in the current conditions of LH. The set of machines, the patterns of its creation and its importance for the technicality of forest production. Differentiation of energy resources in forestry. (allowance 2/2)|
The basic design and utility parameters of energy machines in the growing production of forestry. Theory of power transmission and power mobile energy machinery.
Program No. 1: Checking the tensile capacity UKT towing a trailer and towed load.
Basic energy machines used in forest management, criteria for their deployment, basic technical and technological parameters and their calculation. Law No. 22/97 on technical requirements for products and its importance for the operation of forest equipment . (allowance 2/2)
Examples of typical power equipment - tractors, the most important functional units (chassis, transmission, hydraulic system, curtains). Limit load and axle brackets, center of gravity. Determination of soil resistance.
Program No. 2: controllability and stability of the tractor with an adapter.
|Differentiation of techniques and technologies in forest nurseries. Techniques and procedures for the establishment of forest nurseries. Theoretical foundations of structures and functions of the machinery for soil preparation. The basic breakdown of the system of machinery for soil preparation in tree nursery. (allowance 2/2)|
|a.||Technique for collecting and processing of seeds and prospects for its further development. Physical and technical parameters of the theory of seed and seed mixtures separation principle. Operating principles and use of major representatives of the seed of machines and tools, machinery demonstrations seed Labofix.|
Seeders, nursery planting machines, root cutting machinery, machinery for cultivation, fertilizing machines, machines for harvesting, handling and planting of forest plants. Principles of design, principles of proper use and operation, the limiting conditions of use. Perspective directions of development of techniques and technologies in the production of planting material in the world and the CzR. (allowance 2/2)
Design group and possibilities of using of machines in activities and establishment of nurseries, soil preparation and their samples. To ensure an adequate quality planting two concepts of cell seeding machine.
Program No. 3: Quality assurance of planting seeders.
Technology and technological processes of chemical protection in forest nurseries and forest stands. Basic principles of pesticide applicators and guidelines for proper use. (allowance 2/2)
|Examples of structural design and functional use of the main representatives of applicators of pesticides. Differentiation of the application system according to the type of applied substance and application method. Nontraditional forms of application of pesticides. Program No. 4: Design of chemical protective intervention.|
Preparation of sites for forest regeneration. Machines and technologies for release of glades from logging residues, stumps, trees and undesirable trees. Machines and technologies for both natural and artificial forest regeneration. The technique for fertilizing and liming stands. (allowance 2/2)
Examples of typical technical means and procedures for the release of sites for natural and artificial regeneration of forest from logging residues, techno-economic aspects. Specifications for mechanical equipment and combined soil preparation.
Program No. 5: Determination of plow resistance and tension control capabilities of skidder.
Mechanized planting of seedlings and plants for reforestation. Classification of afforestation machines, basic principles of their design and technological factors affecting the use and integration typesetting machines. (allowance 2/2)
Planters and drills for forest regeneration, their parameters and conditions of use. Sample examples of structural design and functionality of portable and mobile devices for the education of young stands.
|Differentiation, typing and preparation of production in the growing business. Machines and technologies for education of young forest thinning and pruning. (allowance 2/2)|
Introduction to the use of performance standards.
Program 6: Technological preparation of production in forest regeneration.
|9.||Introduction to the logging and timber transport. Integrated forest management, timber production relationship to other functions of the forest. The importance of wood for the society. Renewability of wood as raw material. Timber harvesting in the Czech Republic and the world. Basic data on logging activities in the country. (allowance 2/2)|

Practical acquaintance with the construction, operation and recovery chainsaw. Tools for working with motor chain saws.
Program No. 7: The basic parameters of the cutting chain saws.
Classification and characteristics of the motor chain saws. Safety and hygienic requirements for the design of chainsaws. (allowance 2/2)
The technique of works with a chainsaw in normal conditions. Felling. Disbranching. Cross cutting.
Production processes in the logging and transport of wood, their terminology and structure. Logging methods and their characteristics. The relationship between the logging method and preparation of workplace. (allowance 2/2)
Special motor-manual logging methods. Working in calamity loging. Safety rules. Personal protective equipment.
|Systematics and terminology of skidding. Manual, gravity and animal skidding. Caring for horses. (allowance 2/2)|
|Ropes, chains and harnesses in forestry. Design, standards, ending, connecting, maintenance and care of ropes. The calculations of basic parameters of ropes. Rated load capacity. Allowable load.|
|The system of mechanized equipment for ground skidding and its technological classification. Classification of tractors for skidding on their construction. Structural design of machine groups and special tractors and skiders. (allowance 2/2)|
|Construction of winches, hardware and tools for working with cable winch, parameter-calculations (winding speed, traction power, capacity drum, etc.).|

Credit will be awarded after the submission of protocols developed (program) of exercises, essay submission and delivery of presentations and the composition of the final written test (min. 70 points of max. 100 points).
