Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
Ph.D. student should learn to apply anatomical and physiological findings about the man for the dimensional, functional and utility comfortable and correct creation of specialised machines, useable products such as furniture, wood buildings, clothes and footwears, longer time consumable matters. So that he should respect anthropological and psychophysiological demands according to the sex, age, race and culture, and differences in dimensional and functional fitting and comfort. He should learn to measure the body dimensions and to evaluate them statisticaly.

Course content:
1.
Anthropometry - measuring of body dimentions by all measuring instruments (allowance 0/0)

a.
The developement of classical anthropometry methods for their practical application. Canon method (eight canon, gabarit and outreach dimensions).
b.
Anthropometrical approaches and variability of dimensions of human body and its parts. Creatiion of the control sample. Training of meassurement of ergonomical dimentions for construction according to ISO 7250.
c.Evaluation of data from different anthropometrical databases (collective characterics vs. individual matrix). The way of satisfaction of 90 percent of population sample, including theoretical calculation.

2.
Anthropometrical standardization of dimensions for construction according to ISO CEN CSN 7250. (allowance 0/0)

a.Anatomical specialnesses of different working, user's and releasing body positions and their shifts. Physiological findings of musculosceletal system (danger of occurence of deffective body posture).
b.
Choise of basic size dimention for construction of some kinds of mechanisms according to problem solving. Determination of tolerant interlude, construction of size types, their number and percentage of representation in population. Creation of standard size type from other constructive anthropometrical dimentions.
c.
Somatometric method of recognition of mechanism construction (planar mannequin, moveable mannequin and man). Psychic well-being tests and individual specialness of users, including teritorial behaviour.
