Course title: Physical Principles of Engineering Technologies

Course objective:
The students are trained and get familiarize with basic and technical terminology, with physical processes and possible use of general knowledge in physical and technical area. The physical fundaments of practical and technological problems and processes are introduced. The students learn how to operate different measuring and experimental devices and how to perform technical measurements. Solving of typical and practical technical problems is presented.

Course completion:
Credit, Examination. Credit is obtained after success in writen tests and success in defense of 10 laboratory protocols.
Protocol defence is focused on teoretical and formal correctness and demonstration of practical and theoretical skills and knowledges. Are written every week and are focussed on talked over topics. Examination is oral, student draws 2-3 questions, depends on writen laboratory protocols. One question is focused on solution of given theoretical problem.
Course methods: Two hours of lectures plus two hours of laboratory excersise per academic week. Elaboration of 10 protocols from measuring experiments.
