|Aim of the course and learning outcomes:|
|Students acquire knowledge on basic macroeconomic concepts, problems
and relations among them with support of theoretical models. The knowledge of basic concepts and terms enable students to describe and explain economic phenomenons. Emphasis is placed on understanding of economic mechanism. Result is to identify effect of separate factors to macroeconomic environment in shortrun and in longrun. They also learn about macroeconomic policies and their application by solving the problem of economic stability. Student should understand economic news in newspaper and also in economic magazins.
|Learning activities and teaching methods:|
Student need to pass an exam. The exam consists of written and oral part. written part you need to acquire at least 25 points from 50. Acquired points (for full-time student plus points from credit) comprise the base for final evaluation.
If student doesn't acquire minimal needed points at written part or if he/she doesn't satisfactorily answer questions at oral part, he/she must repeat the exam. There is first and second resit.
Credit: Student have to acquire 25 points from 50. You can acquire points in two midterm tests (25 points are maximum in each one). There is one opportunity to repair credit - repetition of midterm test (one test - max 50 points).
Tests consist of open and text questions, graphs and numericals.
