Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
To acquaint students with a summary of business knowledge of forest and timber companies with special emphasis on the development and use of logistics and marketing skills . The subject will be taught to form a superstructure of professional and economic subjects for the Czech and international trade in timber , wood products industry, but also dendromass for energy purposes.

Assessment methods:
Mandatory participation in the seminars; 1 hour = 1 point, a total of at least 10 points.
Mansatory participation in the workshop of wood auctions = 5 points.
Term paper = 10 points.
Defense term paper. In defense of term paper student receives 15-25 points.
Minimum number of points for successful completion of the course on the 40.
