Aims of the course:
The aim of the lecture is to introduce basics in procaryotic and eucaryotic cell structure. Moreover, subject is focused on explanation of basic techniques in microscopy.

3.Organization of the cell - cytosceleton (allowance 2/2)
4.Procaryotic cell (allowance 2/2)
5.Eucaryotic cell (allowance 2/2)
6.Cell reproduction (allowance 2/2)
7.DNA and proteins (allowance 2/1)
8.Chromosome (allowance 6/8)
9.Gene expression (allowance 2/2)
10.Cancer cell transformation. Cell death. (allowance 2/2)

Assessment methods:
The course is finished and credits are obtained with successful completion of practical training (max. 2 excused absences are tolerated), submission of protocols from laboratory topics, and receiving at least 66% points of maximum from 3 partial written tests. The examination is oral. It consists of 3 randomly selected questions. The questions relate to the syllabus topics. At least 60% of an excellent answer is necessary to pass the oral part successfully.
