Aims of the course:
To obtain view about animal cell and tissues structure and ultrastructure, farm animal organs and body structure including anatomy of poultry and anatomy of fishes. Moreover, to reach ability to distinguish different tissues and organs of livestock at the macroscopic and microscopic level.

8.The Bird Anatomy (allowance 3/3)
9.The Fish Anatomy (allowance 0/0)

- Ability to perform basic cytologic techniques.
-A capability to define basic anatomical and morphological characteristics of animals with regard to their performance
-A capability to define basic physiological characteristics of animals with regard to their performance.
-Ability to distinguish different animal tissues and organs at the macroscopic and microscopic level.
-Ability to distinguish different cell structures and their function.

Assessment methods:
Credit and examination (written and oral).
During the semester students pass five tests with 10 questions (3rd, 5th, 9th, 11th and 12th week of the semester).
Sum of points for correct answers from all the tests offer three ways to take the examination:

0-30 points:
- Students undergo practical exam - knowledge and description of one anatomical specimen and understanding and description of two histological slides with specimens of organs or tissues
- In addition, students take the test breeding to test consisting of 10 questions with a 60% success rate (6 questions must be answered correctly)
- Then pass the theoretical part of the exam consisting of two questions on the anatomy and histology of animals

31-40 points:
- Student completes the releasing test to exam consisting of 10 questions with a 60% success rate (6 questions must be answered correctly)
- Then pass the theoretical part of the exam consisting of two questions on the anatomy and histology of animals

41-50 points:
students complete only the theoretical part of the exam consisting of two questions on the anatomy and histology of animals
